Embrace the Ordinary 2016 vol. 4
This boy *loves* the beach. He digs in the sand, and when given the opportunity, speeds for the waves.
I love the palm trees, especially against the clear sky. Fence doesn’t know it yet (but he will if he reads this!), but I bought some palm tree fabric at the craft store last week, and I’m planning to make some kitchen curtains with it. We have a huge window that lets in tons of light, but it faces east so the mornings can be brutal on the boys’ eyes while they eat breakfast, and it also has no privacy with no curtains. Pics of these later in the week, if I get to sewing them! (God-willing, I will have the time!)
Have you heard of LuLaRoe yet? It’s a clothing company, in the direct-sales line of businesses (don’t run away now), with leggings, dresses, shirts, skirts, and more. I was suuuuper skeptical about it, because for the longest time, I thought the claims about how comfy and soft the leggings are were exaggerated, and all the prints I saw in their clothes were crazy.
Then I saw some prints I did like, and a few friends started selling, and I figured why not give it a try. Now I get it. The leggings really are as soft as they claim, and they are fit so well. The dresses and skirts are modest, too! This morning it was rainy and cool, so I got comfy in my favorite pair.
(want to see what these clothes are about? Prints and solids, girls and ladies’ styles…message me! A friend will have a show for me this coming Friday on FaceBook. You can “window shop” out of curiosity if nothing else.)
The big boys and I went to a Mom-Son Pirate Ball last week. It was really fun, mostly because we got to dress up like pirates and be completely silly.
What’s going on in your days? This week was completely nuts (when is it ever not?!), and the coming week probably will be also, but I’m really looking forward to November and birthdays and Thanksgiving. Also, Advent. Let me know in the comments or link your Embrace the Ordinary posts!
Yay! One of my favorite link-ups! 🙂 Loving all your beach time! So awesome!!!
