Five Favorites: Everyday Fashion
hello, world…this is me not winning at fashion post selfies
It’s been awhile since I joined up with Jenna and the 5 Favorites party, but I’ve had this post brewing for weeks and weeks now. I’ve also had some of the most trying weeks of the year so far, but have these favorite “staples” in my fashion “tool box” that at least perk me up when I’m getting dressed to tackle the day. (some links are affiliate links below!)
{one} for my face
Long earrings from ModCloth (<<affiliate link. If you buy anything through this, I receive a small amount in return, which helps run my blog)
{two}Â for my feet
fun coral shoes from ModCloth (<<affiliate link. If you buy anything through this, I receive a small amount in return, which helps run my blog)
and Minnetonka mocs found on ThredUp (<<sign up through this link, you get $10 and I get $10. WIN!)
{three} for my neck
tiny embroidery hoop necklace from Call Her Happy
This is the second one I have ordered from Jenna, and I just love them. She has super-fast shipping, will do custom work, and her work is top-notch.
Lady Leggings from Whole Parenting Goods
I adore leggings lately. They are so comfy. I’m not really a “leggings are pants” person, and always wear a dress or skirt or long shirt/tunic with mine. Nell’s work is great, her customer service is above and beyond, and these are just so darn comfy that I’ll be nearly living in these for the duration of this pregnancy…and beyond. I actually have a second pair, also.
{five} for my bod
Super soft, unique, lovely script…what else is there to say? If you are going to order before the site sells out, DO size up. I am usually a small, but went with a large to go with my growing belly. It fits great now, and will be snug well before September, if my belly grows anything like it has in the past. Plus, if you buy a tee from BIS, you’re also supporting a great site and ministry for women, spreading the Word with daily devotions for and by women.
This is what happens when I attempt to use the camera on a tripod. Sorry, fashion world. I have broken all the rules. Good thing this isn’t a fashion blog.
You’re so kind to include the leggings 🙂 as I think you took great pics and are a super fashionista! Cannot wait for my BIS tee!
Thanks, Nell. Seems like lots of ladies are still interested in leggings, too! 😉
I have it on my list to get myself a pair of Nell original leggings too! they look grand on you 🙂
You’ll have to get in touch with her!
Love love love this! And I say, Beautiful shots!
😉 You are too kind. hehe. I am much better behind the camera. 😉 Hence why most shots are not with my face.
You look so lovely in all of these – clearly your everyday go-tos are working for you. I am loving my BiS tee and it’s already had to go in the wash, I’ve been wearing it so much.
Thanks, Brigid, that is so kind of you! I do love these things, helps me not feel so frumpy as a SAHM! 😉 Glad you’re loving your BIS tee, too!
What a great list!
Have been debating getting a BIS t-shirt; may just have to go for it and call it a Mother’s Day gift to myself.
Go for it! 🙂
I have those exact leggings 🙂 Whoa Nelly! I love them ha. Also, thank you for including me in your 5 faves – you’re making me blush! Aaaaand, all I ever wear are my Minnetonkas!
Finally, thank you so much for your kind gift you sent! I love me some adorable handmade jewelry, and the balm smells mmmmmm. Did you make it??
I am loving those shoes. both of them! And you most definitely do not fail at fashion selfies 🙂
That is the most adorable necklace!
How cute are you!! I love that your fashion supports Catholic organizations and small businesses. <3
