Women Encouraging Women: A New Series
A few recent conversations plus the Holy Spirit on my heart bring this new series to you. I look around and see so much heartache, comparison, doubt, and fear. Women ache for belonging and acceptance, the true kind of acceptance, that embraces our entire being. We long for encouragement from our peers. Often we’re good at this! We cheer each other on when we have fitness goals, start a new business, take a leap of faith to start a new job. And yet, we’re also prone to hasty judgements, comparing ourselves to false standards of beauty and achievement, and it leaves us doubting our worth and afraid to connect.
We’re made for better than this!
I’d love to see more women sharing their lives and encouraging each other in their daily walk. I’d love to start reshaping the way women treat each other so that my girls see the example and live with this spirit of love and encouragement, rather than comparison and insecurity. Let’s begin. Let’s cheer each other on, whether you want to share your own accomplishment or seek some support for a difficult season of life, or you want to give a shout-out to a friend, sister, your mom, or daughter. That’s what this series is: women encouraging women.
Message me if you want to participate. You don’t have to be a blogger, on social media, or own a business. Maybe you overcame a fear and want to share your story. Maybe another woman inspired you in some way and you want to recognize her (even anonymously!) for the difference she made in your life. I want to share stories, celebrate successes, and cheer you on when you’re stepping out in love, bravery, and creativity.
The series will run on Wednesdays, at least once a month. Find all the posts here!
